This is a simple breakdown of areas of the site where I collect info from you.
- General page viewing: I collect page viewing information from visitors, this is basic data which comprises of (but not in total), the time you viewed the page, what page you viewed, what browser you used, and what page you viewed next. This is to help me optimise the site and make any changes to make navigation easier and more comfortable for visitors like you.
- When you register for an account, I collect an email, a username, and a name to reference you by. This is information you give me and is kept secure. It is not sold to, nor viewed by third parties. This information is simply to allow you to log in to access restricted areas of the site which need identification. I ask for optional data from you just as a (very) rough measuring stick to gather who uses this site so I may be able to change the resource to help certain types of visitors. I have no want to send you spam with the data you give me and I want you to feel safe.
